The rapper takes an interview in the current state of his relationship with his partner and friend for many years.

Even the best friendships have very low points, but Jay-Z and Kanye West seem to be on a non-return.

It’s been nearly a year since Kanye West interrupted one of her concerts to rant about Beyoncé and Jay-Z in front of more than 13,000 spectators, but the singer’s husband of ‘Lemonade’ still remembers it with resentment. “We’ve been through worse problems, but you’ve got my family and now that’s a problem,” the rapper said in an interview on the Rap Radar podcast echoed by E! News.

Jay-Z, about Kanye West: "You know you went overboard"

Jay-Z refers to the fact that Kanye accused Beyoncé of refusing to sing if he did not win with ‘Formation’ the video of the year award at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards over his competitors, including Kanye himself and Rapper Drake. Beyonce ended up winning. “We’re all the same,” the rapper said at his concert in Sacramento, California, last November. “But sometimes we play too much with politics and forget who we are just to win.” Shortly after, Kanye canceled the concert, the rest of his tour and entered a hospital by exhaustion.

Since then, little seems to have advanced between the rappers, who had a professional and personal relationship for years. “You know it’s a problem because he and I would have talked to him, we would have solved our problems, and he knows he got out of the loop, he knows, and I know he knows,” Jay-Z added in his interview. “Because we have never left so much space between one of our discrepancies and we have had many. It is part of who we are.”

Jay-Z talks about slaps his sister-in-law gave him in an elevator

The producer and musician said that between him and Solagne everything magnifies, but nothing happens.

Jay Z finally spoke about the controversial video where it is seen that his sister-in-law Solange Knowles gives him a couple of slaps and argues with him in an elevator.

This controversial scene was in January of 2014, when Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange returned from the Met Gala, and where the security cameras of the elevator catch the moment when it strikes and shouts to the producer.

Jay Z had been silent ever since, but at Elliot Wilson’s Rap Radar portal and Brian Miller said, “We’ve always had a wonderful relationship, I’ve been arguing and fighting with my brothers all my life, she’s not my sister-in-law, she’s my Sister, I will always protect you, period. The only thing that happens is that in us things are magnified and taken out of context, but it was nothing”

What surprised the video, is that Beyoncé witnessed this scene and was impatient, never reacted or tried to calm the situation, as if nothing was happening.
